PROGRAM – Children enrolled in the after-school program at Palmetto Elementary are offered a variety of activities. These activities include: homework assistance, indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts.

STAFF – The program managers supervise group activity leaders previously screened by Miami-Dade County Public Schools who work directly with your children in small groups. All activity leaders receive a minimum of 45 hours of state certified child care training.

SNACKS – Each day a snack will be provided for your child after the end of the regular school day. We ask that parents notify staff of any food allergies upon registration.

INSURANCE – Upon registering your child, it is mandatory to obtain student accident insurance. No child may attend before or after-school care programs without this supplemental coverage. This is supplemental insurance and DOES NOT take the place of family or individual medical insurance coverage.

FEES – Fees must be paid in advance based on the payment schedule. Fees may be paid by check, cash, or money order. There is no partial payment for partial use of services. NO CHILD WILL BE ALLOWED TO BEGIN A SERVICE PERIOD FOR WHICH PAYMENT HAS NOT BEEN MADE.

BEFORE-SCHOOL CARE 7:00 a.m. – 8:10 a.m. $20 Per Week
STORY HOUR 1:50 p.m. – 3:05 p.m. $20 Per Week (4 days)
AFTER-SCHOOL CARE 3:05 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. $40 Per Week or $35 for free or reduced lunch students
Wednesday Only 1:50 p.m. – 3:05 p.m. $4 Per week
